Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 9, 2026
FlightRosterIQ provides crew roster, schedule, notification, sharing, and calendar-synchronization tools. This policy explains the information we process, why we process it, and the choices available to you.
Information we process
- Account information, such as employee identifier, display name, airline, subscription status, and preferences.
- Roster information needed to display and synchronize duties, including dates, times, routes, assignments, hotels, and related schedule details.
- Device notification tokens and operational logs used to deliver alerts, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot errors.
- Social features you choose to use, such as friend relationships, family access, and chat messages.
- Google account and Calendar data described below, only when you choose to connect Google Calendar.
Google Calendar data
When you connect Google Calendar, FlightRosterIQ requests permission to create its own secondary Google Calendar and to create, read, update, and delete events on calendars created by FlightRosterIQ. The app uses this access only to synchronize your roster into that calendar and keep FlightRosterIQ-created events current.
We may receive your Google account email address and basic profile name to identify the connected account in Settings. We store OAuth access and refresh tokens securely on the FlightRosterIQ server so automatic synchronization can continue when you are not actively using the app. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as required to operate the feature, comply with law, or protect users and the service.
FlightRosterIQ’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate users, retrieve and display rosters, synchronize calendars, deliver requested alerts, support app features, process subscriptions, secure the service, and diagnose failures. We do not sell personal information.
Storage and security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access credentials and OAuth tokens are handled server-side and are not exposed to other users. We use access controls and operational safeguards designed to protect stored information. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and deletion
- You may disable automatic calendar synchronization or select Unlink Google Calendar in Settings at any time. Unlinking revokes Google authorization and deletes the stored OAuth token.
- You may also revoke FlightRosterIQ from your Google Account’s third-party access settings.
- Deleting your FlightRosterIQ account removes its stored Google authorization and associated account data, subject only to records that must be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, or transaction obligations.
- You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing flightrosteriq@gmail.com.
Unlinking does not automatically delete the secondary “FlightRosterIQ Schedule” calendar already present in your Google account; you remain its owner and may delete it directly in Google Calendar.
Retention
We retain information only as long as needed to provide the service, meet security and legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Google OAuth tokens are deleted when you unlink Google Calendar or delete your FlightRosterIQ account.
Children
FlightRosterIQ is intended for airline crew members and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. The revision date above identifies the latest version.
